  10. Flx is a .FLI and .FLC animation viewer.
  11. Flx shows the animations inside a Workbench's window or in its own 256 colours screen.
  12. Flx has been completely written in 68020+ assembler !!!

  14. These are the characteristics of FLX :
  15.  
  16. - it shows the animation on a Workbench's window
  17. - it shows the animation on a 256 colours screen
  18. - possibility to use the original animation palette (256 colours Wb)
  19. - possibility to use the original Workbench palette with any number of colours
  20. - changing of animation colours basing on Workbench colours
  21. - reduction of the number of colours used by animation, in order to show it in WB
  22.   (for example : from 256 to 16)
  23. - reshaping of the animation in real time to adapt it to the window's dimension
  24. - it shows the number of the frame and the total number of frames in the window's
  25.   title
  26. - possibility to show simultaneously more animations, executing FLX many times
  27.   (memory limited)

  32. Through the menus it is possible :
  33. - OPEN SCREEN : to open a 256 colours screen for the animation
  34. - CLOSE SCREEN: to close the screen opened with OPEN SCREEN
  35. - PALETTE ANIM: to use the original animation palette (better with 256 colours WB)
  36. - PALETTE WB  : to use the original Workbench palette (with re-mapping, scaling,
  37.   and so on)
  38. - LOAD ANIM   : to load a new animation (available from the 0.9 version)
  39. - ABOUT       : information about the programme 
  40. - QUIT        : exit from FLX
